We are a deli, but we’re also caterers.  We like people, and we’d like to help you make your next event great fun, with good food.  We’ve catered a lot of events over the years, and have come to use the following guide to help with the planning and implementation of catered events:

  • We  talk with you about the key aspects of the event, including the planned number of people, style of event, location, budget, food favorites.  We can do this in person, or via the phone.
  • We discuss several menu ideas with you, and after a few iterations narrow in on food items that you believe would be great for your event.
  • We provide a quoted price, for the food, and any other items or services, you would like for us to provide (tables+chairs, wait staff, etc.).  We can iterate on these first three steps until you are satisfied with all aspects of the catering.
  • We do the event, and make sure that it’s a great time.

As for deciding on the menu, we can suggest some traditional menu items that have been well received over the years, but we are very interested in customizing our menus to suit your event.  We can provide the food, beverages, tables, chairs, linens, flatware/silverware/glassware/china, wait staff, bartenders, and help with any other items that you need.

We can help you with catered events for two to two hundred people, although if you twist my arm, we can probably do a bit larger of an event.

I have been asked this question several times, so we’re trying to spread the word around.

Mozzo (ma’ – zo)
n. the hub in Italian; the center of activity; Wikipedia definition; the best sandwiches in the civilized world (well we took some editorial license with that last one).

And, it’s also our restaurant at 730 Coleman Boulevard in Mt. Pleasant, SC. And just for clarity; it’s not the wonderful soup… that’s Matzah (or Matzo) Ball soup.
So, as we were deciding on the characteristics of this Deli, we decided that we wanted a place where our clients could come and have something to eat, and also stay awhile, as in a center of activity. So, do both. Come and eat with us- we promise you’ll leave happy, and come and visit- we’re friendly and we’re happy to have you bring a laptop in, relax in front of one of our TVs, or use our space to meet one of your business clients.

thanks-

Shannon
